JK3DM2207 is a three-phase stepper motor driver based on DSP control. It is a new generation of digital stepping motor driver which combines advanced DSP control chip and three-phase inverter drive module. The drive voltage is AC170V-260V, and it is suitable for various types of three-phase hybrid stepping motors with current below 5.8A and OD 57-130mm. The driver adopts a circuit similar to the servo control principle, which enables the motor to run smoothly with almost no vibration and noise, and the torque of the motor at high speed is much higher than that of the two-phase and five-phase hybrid stepping motors. The positioning accuracy is up to 60,000 steps/revolution.

● Equipped with 16-speed equal-angle constant torque subdivision, with a maximum resolution of 60,000 steps/revolution
● Maximum response frequency up to 200Kpps
● When the stepping pulse stops for more than 1.5s, the coil current is automatically reduced to half of the set current.

● Drive current from 1.3A/phase to 7.0A/phase is adjustable in 16 steps.

Description:

The JK3MD2207 is full digital 3 phase stepper driver based on DSP control. As a new generation of digital stepper motor drives, it is combined the advanced DSP control chip with the three-phase inverter driver module.The drive voltage of which is from 160V to 230VAC.It is designed for using with the 3 phase hybrid stepper motor of all kinds with 0.57mm to 130mm outside diameter, regulated phase current from  1.3A to 7.0A. The circuit that it adopts is similar to the circuit of servo control which enables the motor to run smoothly without noise and vibration. Moreover, its torque is far greater than 2 and 5 phase hybrid stepping motors.Furthemore, the highest micro step is 60000ppr. Due to these obvious advangtages, it is widely used in middle and big size numerical control devices such as curving machine, CNC machine, computer embroider machine, packing machine and etc.

SUBDIVISION (MICRO STEP) SETTING

The subdivision (micro step) is set by DIP switches D5 to D8, 16 channels in total. D9 and D10 are used to set the driver function.

1, Q: The motor does not turn and no holding torque:

     A: ① check whether the power line is connected to the wrong voltage is too low, need to increase the voltage or correct the power line

         ② check whether the motor wiring is correct, if not correct motor wiring. Check if the motor wiring is correct, if not, correct the motor wiring.

         ③ Whether the enable signal is valid, resulting in the motor does not work.

         ④ Is the subdividing parameter correct?

         ⑤ Is the current parameter correct?


2Q:Motor does not rotate but has holding torque:

      A: ① The phase sequence of motor wires is wrong, need to swap any two wires.

          ② Pulse signal input is wrong, need to check the pulse wiring.


3Q: The motor torque is too small:

      A: ① Phase current setting is too small, need to set the phase current corresponding to the motor.

          ② acceleration is too fast, reduce the acceleration value

          ③ motor blocking, need to rule out mechanical problems

          ④ drive and motor mismatch, need to replace the appropriate drive


4Q:Motor steering error:

      A: ① motor line phase sequence is wrong, need to swap any two wires

          ② motor line has a broken circuit, check and connect the right


5Q:The alarm indicator light is on:

     A: ① Is the motor wire connected incorrectly

         ② Whether there is over-voltage and under-voltage conditions

         ③ Motor or driver is damaged


6Q:Motor acceleration blocking:

     A: ① short acceleration time

         ② motor torque is too small

         ③ Low voltage or current
