Jkongmotor linear stepper motor including external linear stepper motor (T-type or Ball screw type), Non-captive linear stepper motor or Captive linear stepper motor, and the connector, gearbox, encoder, brake orintegrated driver are optional.
Integrated Step Motors fuse step motor plus drive and control components into a single device. Integrated steppers offer a space-saving design that reduces wiring and saves on cost over separate motor and drive components.
Linear Stepper Motors:These stepper motors with linear motion are open-loop systems with a base and a slider. They provide high speeds and resolutions. The sliders are also called forcers which contain a permanent magnet, teeth, and motor windings.
If low cost is needed, a stepper is a good choice. If loads are unpredictable and create extra torque requirements, a servo is a good choice. If complete reliability even with power loss is needed, a servo should be chosen. If it's a low speed or low torque application, a stepper should be used.
